Bettina Boland
Project Designer
Born in Mount Pleasant, SC, and raised in Pascagoula, MS, Bettina developed an early appreciation for the built environment through her love of travel. Exploring new places meant discovering new architecture—each structure telling its own story through materials, form, and craftsmanship. This curiosity for design naturally led her to pursue a degree in architecture. Bettina is a graduate of Mississippi State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Architecture and a minor in Historic Preservation. While at MSU, she studied abroad in Italy, where she deepened her appreciation for the rich diversity of architectural styles and the power of thoughtful detailing in design.
While in school, she interned at Christopher Architecture & Interiors, working in the residential studio where she gained hands-on experience in custom home design. This experience solidified her passion for detailed, context-driven architecture and the relationships it fosters. As a full-time team member at Christopher, Bettina is excited to continue growing in her design career and exploring Birmingham with her fiancé, Matthew. Outside of work, Bettina enjoys discovering new music, long walks, traveling to new places, and spending time with friends.
