Originally from Monroe, Louisiana, Emily developed a deep appreciation for the distinctive bayou homes of her hometown early on. She pursued this passion at Louisiana Tech University, where she earned a B.S. in Architectural Studies with a minor in Construction Engineering Technology, followed by a Master of Architecture.

Throughout her academic journey, Emily gained practical experience through summer internships, where she had the opportunity to work on the very homes that inspired her, solidifying her commitment to the art and craft of architecture.

Outside of her professional life, Emily enjoys traveling to new destinations, spending quality time with her dog, Goose, and expressing her creativity through painting. Now based in Birmingham, she is eager to explore and immerse herself in her new surroundings.
