Mason Cunningham

Project Manager

Mason’s love for design was discovered at an early age through the constant and meticulous rebuilding of Playmobile. This led her to study architecture at Auburn University. Originally from Lexington, Kentucky she was thrilled to head South for warmer winters. While at Auburn she traveled to Rome for a semester to better understand the elements that shape design surrounding a rich urban fabric and historic culture. Her final year in school was with Auburn’s Urban Studio where she was part of various studies of resiliency and walkability throughout the city of Birmingham. She remained in Birmingham to begin her career in commercial architecture with a focus on higher education, sports facilities, and performing arts spaces. Mason is excited to continue her passion in connecting people to meaningful spaces through design at Christopher Architecture and Interiors.

In her spare she enjoys traveling, cooking, needlepointing, and visiting with friends and family. You can always find Mason, her husband, Troup, and golden retrievers, Lilla and Snap, trying something new.
