Mason Cunningham
Project Manager
From an early age, Mason’s passion for design manifested through the meticulous reconstruction of Playmobil sets, igniting a lifelong fascination with architectural forms. This enthusiasm guided her to pursue a degree in architecture at Auburn University, where she embraced the opportunity to experience the southern climate of Alabama after growing up in Lexington, Kentucky. During her studies, Mason enriched her perspective with a semester in Rome, immersing herself in the city’s rich urban tapestry and historic design principles.
In her final year at Auburn, Mason’s involvement with Auburn’s Urban Studio allowed her to delve into urban resiliency and walkability studies in Birmingham. This practical experience was instrumental in launching her career in commercial architecture, where she has since specialized in creating vibrant spaces for higher education, sports facilities, and performing arts venues.
Now at Christopher Architecture and Interiors, Mason is driven by her passion for both residential and commercial design. She is dedicated to crafting spaces that not only meet functional needs but also forge meaningful connections and enhance the quality of life for their occupants. Through her work, Mason values the opportunity to build relationships and contribute to environments that truly resonate with people.
Outside of her professional life, she enjoys traveling, cooking, needlepointing, and spending time with her husband, Troup, and their golden retrievers, Lilla and Snap, always eager to embark on new adventures.
